firm.

– The Houston Business Journal ranked Fitts,
Roberts as the 18th Largest Accounting Firm in Houston.
– Bryne Liner co-authored an article in the May/June 2009 issue of the
Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance.
– Lamar Casparis published two articles in Well Servicing magazine:
“Improving Employee Productivity for a Better Bottom Line” and “Building
Leadership in Hiring”.
In the
Community:
– Fitts, Roberts was a sponsor of the Houston
Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs Scholarship Extravaganza.
– Larry Tanner and his wife,
Kay, received the “Guardian of Youth” Award from St. Agnes Academy.
– Fitts, Roberts sponsored a table at the Sugar
Land Exchange Club Spaghetti cook-off.
– In August 2009, Annjeanette
Yglesias, organized a drive for the Dress for Success
organization. Business attire and cash donations were collected and
donated for this worthy cause.
– Larry Tanner
is on the executive committee of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
of Houston. On September 26, 2009, approx. 15 Fitts, Roberts’
employees, friends, and family members joined in the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation walk at Reliant Stadium. The Fitts, Roberts’ team
raised and donated approximately $5,000.
– Trevor McGinnis will again participate in
the Walk for Autism at Reliant Stadium in October. We support
Trevor in this worthy cause and assist him to raise donations to further
research.
